Good Morning Soupie!

Lithium is often referred to as “The fuel of the future“, but it’s already here today!

It’s found in electric cars, cell phones, cameras, digital and electronic devices—and demand for it is growing as more and more technology depends on it.

LTUM is Exploiting the Insatiable Demand for Lithium!

LTUM (Lithium Corporation) knows demand for lithium is increasing exponentially.

Here’s an excerpt from Commodity Online, in their September 13th, 2009 article, titled:

“Why Warren Buffet is Investing in Lithium”

“Future growth estimates vary wildly—anywhere from 20- to 40-fold increase by 2020—driven largely by car battery demand. The USGS expects demand for lithium-ion batteries to increase 15-fold from 2006 to 2012.”

And where is all that Lithium going to come from?  Well, hopefully from LTUM, of course!

LTUM is an exploration company based in Nevada devoted to discovery and development of new, clean energy sources—most notably, Lithium.

LTUM has acquired and continues to explore and develop lithium properties in their home state, as well as other lithium rich areas in the continental United States.

At last count, LTUM is currently digging in 5 Lithium-rich locations.

· Cortez - a 4,960 acre parcel

· Fish Creek Caldera - a 2,340 acre parcel

· Fish Lake Valley - a 6,400 acre parcel

· Salt Wells - a 12,320 acre parcel

· West Big Smoky - a  2,720 acre parcel

Yes, lots of properties with folksy names, but the common thread is they all have “strong lithium content” according to geologic estimates.

NOW Check This Out!

AXcess News just wrote a story on LTUM.

They reported the company has acquired claims in several areas considered hotbeds for lithium exploration, three of which are west of Clayton Valley, where Chemetall Silver Peak operates the only lithium carbonate brine production plant in the entire US!

LTUM says samples indicate lithium sediments are DOUBLE what they found at Silver Peak. So, naturally, LTUM is drawing up plans to start digging in those areas, too!

Lithium is a Very Valuable and Pricey Commodity!

LTUM states that the price of lithium (which is not widely published) reached about $6,600 a ton in August 2009. That compares with about $2,500 a ton at the beginning of the decade.

Public Broadcasting states: “The price of lithium has increased eightfold in the last six years.”

And LTUM believes lithium pricing will continue to increase dramatically as demand rises.

LTUM Has a Sweet, Sweet Looking Chart!

· Defying the “tax sell-off season”, LTUM made a big move in late December

· Since then the stock has given back approx. 25% of its value (no panic selling or dumping)

· Now, the stock appears to be forming a base at this level, and readying itself for its next leg up

· MACD is mildly bullish, but could turn quickly with more buyer interest (very possible)

· The stochastics are emerging from an oversold condition and major buying is very possible.

Long time reader, had never executed a trade based on your advice until LTUM. I made ~11% in two days. Thanks InvestorSoup! Looking forward to more alerts in the future.

Sincerely,
