The following are penny stocks that made the news yesterday.  Some have given back yesterday’s gains already, but others might still be in play.  My comments are in quotation marks below each ticker.

Amarok Resources Inc. (OTC: AMOK) was up yesterday 13.85% to $1.48.  On Tuesday, the company announced that drilling is now underway on the Rodeo Creek project.  (OTC:AMOK), (AMOK)

I love the ticker for the company (running AMOK anyone?), but I don’t think much of the company or its chart.  It is in a holding pattern without any trend or momentum.  Next!

BioSolar Inc. (OTC: BSRC) is up 34.28% to $0.256 on strong volume of 6.21 million shares trading hands.  (OTC:BSRC), (BSRC)

The inevitable collapse today after two strong days.  I like BSRC’s long term prospects.  It will be interesting to see if they can turn this good news into a prolonged trend.  Might be a good stock to play on the dips.

Golden Eagle International Inc. (OTC: MYNG) was up 52.73% to $0.420.  (OTC: MYNG), (MYNG)

Get ready to short this puppy!  Up for the 6th day in a row, MYNG is going to collapse very soon.  Get ready!

Numobile Inc. (OTC: NUBL) is up 4.35% to $0.0024.  NuMobile and Nova Energy partnerships to be featured in China Crescent’s Trade Mission, which is scheduled to begin on May 24 in conjunction with World’s Fair in Shanghai.  (OTC:NUBL), (NUBL)

Onyx China Inc (OTC: LUXE) is up 30.59% to $0.0222 on above-average volume of 2.30 million shares, compared to average volume of 229,000 shares.  (OTC:LUXE), (LUXE)

Sunrise Consulting Group Inc. (PINK: SNRS) is up 66.67% to $0.0005 on an above-average volume of 751.79 million shares.  (PINK:SNRS), (SNRS)

This will crash soon, but good luck getting any shares to short.

Genta Inc. (OTC: GETA) is up 1.18% to $0.0513.  (OTC:GETA), (GETA)

GETA is just diluting the crap out of everyone.  It is going to be almost impossible to get these shares to rise unless they get some miracle.

Wellstar International Inc. (OTC: WLSI) remains unchanged at $0.0007 on above-average volume.  The company has reported that it has installed and trained the staff for the TMI Imaging system in a physician’s office in Torrance, California.  (OTC:WLSI), (WLSI)

Zevotek Inc. (OTC:ZVTK) is down 13.64% to $0.0019 on strong volume of 147.27 million shares trading hands.  (OTC: ZVTK), (ZVTK)

I have talked to the company several times and they claim they are not promoting or manipulating their own stock.  I tend to believe them.  ZVTK has been a creation of the message boards.  The relentless optimism of posters gave the public an idea that ZVTK had “turned the corner” and was going to post big numbers.  It didn’t happen and the stock continues to get hammered.

It is  not a time to go long on ZVTK.

TAO Minerals Ltd. (OTC: TAON) is up 30.30% to $0.430 on above-average volume. (OTC:TAON), ($TAON)

MedCareers Group Inc. (OTC: MCGI) is up 34.38% to $2.15. The company has said that it has entered into a letter of intent to acquire a nurse staffing company located in the Southeast. (OTC:MCGI), ($MCGI)

My favorite is MCGI.  I blogged it back in March when it first exploded on the scene.  I said short it and anyone who did doubled their money in about a day.

MCGI is on the same track again.  It may go up for a few more days, but it will fall just like the last time.  You can take that to the bank.

Energas Resources Inc. (OTC: EGSR) is up 29.41% to $0.0220. The company has announced that it has contracted for the Lake Devore Prospect in Colorado. (OTC:EGSR), ($EGSR)

Cougar Oil & Gas Canada Inc. (OTC: COUGF) is up 14.29% to $2.40 on above-average volume. (OTC:COUGF), ($COUGF)

Americas Energy Company (OTC: AENY) is up 27.71% to $1.73 following the company’s operational update. (OTC:AENY), ($AENY)

Infrax Systems Inc (OTC: IFXY) is up 13.73% to $0.0290. The company has announced that Trimax Wireless has completed the first phase of the network deployment being built for their customer in Abuja, Nigeria. (OTC:IFXY), ($IFXY)

Wellstar International Inc. (OTC: WLSI), $0.0010, is moving up on above average volume. (OTC:WLSI), ($WLSI)

Composite Technology Corp. (OTC: CPTC) is up 11.90% to $0.25. The company has announced that its subsidiary CTC Cable Corp. has received an order from Keys Energy for ACCC conductor. (OTC:CPTC), ($CPTC)

WLSI, GETA, PWRM, CICN, RNRG, CBAI, UNDT, ISDR, ZVTK, CMGR

These are some more penny stocks that are in the news today.  UNDT is a past alert that savvy traders can trade again and again.  It is a highly volatile sub-penny stock.  Same thing with CBAI.  I have recommended it twice in the past and both times my members profited.

Genta Inc. (OTC: GETA) is down 0.80% to $0.0746. The company has announced that data from clinical trials of the its late-stage compounds will be presented at the 2010 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, which will be held in Chicago from June 4 to 9, 2010. (OTC:GETA), ($GETA)

Power3 Medical Products Inc. (OTC: PWRM) is up 27.06% to $0.0540 on above-average volume. The company has said that a joint provisional patent application has been filed by the principals of StemTroniX and Power3 with the U.S. PTO, which covers the convergence of both companies’ technologies in anticipation of an upcoming acquisition. (OTC:PWRM), ($PWRM)

Cicero Inc. (OTC: CICN) $0.170. The company has today announced that ProCore Solutions has signed a new product and services agreement to deliver and use Cicero’s XM (TM) software solutions in its service centers. (OTC:CICN), ($CICN)

Revonergy Inc. (OTC: RNRG) is up 15.00% to $0.345 following today’s announcement that the company has been assigned the rights to develop and own a wood waste-to-energy project in Ondo State, Africa. (OTC:RNRG), ($RNRG)

Cord Blood America Inc. (OTC: CBAI) is down 1.16% to $0.0085. The company has announced updates on its China and Las Vegas operations. (OTC:CBAI), ($CBAI)

Universal Detection Technology (OTC: UNDT) is down 9.09% to $0.0030 on above-average volume. The company on Monday said it has received a purchase order from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for its bioterrorism detection equipment. (OTC:UNDT), ($UNDT)

Issuer Direct Corp. (OTC: ISDR) is up 26.53% to $0.310 following its quarterly earnings announcement. The company also anticipates filing its quarterly report including its financials in eXtensible Business Reporting Language (xBRL) with the Securities and Exchange Commission before market close today. I don’t know if “pennystockapalooza” is a word….I just like how it sounds.  The word Lollapalooza means “one that is extraordinarily impressive”.  I don’t know if any of these penny stocks are extraordinarily impressive, but they are fun nonehteless and have a great potential for gains.

GreenGro Technologies Inc. (OTC: GRNH) was down yesterday 32.43% to $0.125. It was down another 20% today.  The company has recently announced that it has received a conditional approval for a medical marijuana license in San Diego. (OTC:GRNH), ($GRNH)

This is a brand new company, non-reporting with no info other than a few PR releases.  In other words…it is a great penny stock play!

Medical Marijuana is smoking!  A USA Today article pointed out that 15 states allow it currently and 14 more are considering allowing medical marijuana.  You just have to pick the right horse to back in this race.  GRNH might not be it.

Shrink Nanotechnologies Inc. (OTC: INKND) was up yesterday 36.59% to $0.280 on above-average volume. (OTC:INKND), ($INKND)

Today, INKND was up another 30%.  this is a story of a company putting out what seems as credible news with exciting technology that  is capturing the imagination of the Street.  INKND’s solar technology seems to have a HUGE potential.

BioNeutral Group Inc. (OTC: BONU) was up Monday 18.18% to $0.520. The company has announced that its Ygiene™ hospital-grade antimicrobial has passed the stringent sporicidal GLP test requirements for hospital and medical environment sporicide efficacy claims in Canada and Australia. (OTC:BONU), ($BONU)

I think that BONU will be big some day…the question is “when?”  BONU was down today as some profit taking happened, but not too much.  BONU might be one to put back on your trading radar.

Arrayit Corp. (OTC: ARYC) is up 31.25% to $1.05 on above-average volume. (OTC:ARYC), ($ARYC)

Delta Mutual Inc. (OTC: DLTZ) $0.430. The company has announced the acquisition of a major lithium deposit in an area of North Guayatayoc, Argentina.(OTC:DLTZ), ($DLTZ)

Vital Products Inc. (OTC: VTPI) is down 17.65% to $0.0014. The company has said that its sales for the quarter ended April 30, 2010 are expected to exceed $250,000. (OTC:VTPI), ($VTPI)

The company flat on light volume.  Sellers hammered the stock for the past two days and I don’t see much hope for it in the near term.

Li-ion Motors Corp. (OTC: LMCO) was up Monday by 15.85% to $1.90. The company has announced that it will participate in a one week shakedown event of technical inspections, safety inspections, durability testing and efficiency runs at the Michigan speedway. (OTC:LMCO), ($LMCO)

LMCO, one of my past alerts, has a real chance to be more than a fringe player in the EV business.   However, they suffer from a chronic lack of funds and that will hamper their efforts to get to production levels that make the company viable.  They have some great designs and some nice tech.  I am rooting for them.

Lorus Therapeutics Inc. (USA) (OTC: LRUSF) is up 11.11% to $0.104. The company has announced the allowance of a new patent in Australia for its clinical-stage drug LOR-2040 in the treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). (OTC:LRUSF), ($LRUSF)

Fonix Corp. (OTC: FNXCE) is down 33.33% to $0.0002 on above-average volume. (OTC:FNXCE), ($FNXCE)

Positron Corp. (OTC: POSC) is up 0.48% to $0.210. POSC chairman Patrick Rooney has confirmed in an interview with BioMedReports that while his company will be profitable this year, he sees much more profitability in the coming years. (OTC:POSC), ($POSC)

I like POSC.  I just don’t know if I trust this run up.  POSC has some really nice technology, but a lot of obstacles to profitability.  Capital equipment of the type that they manufacture is exactly “flying off the shelves”.  And, POSC seems to be Tim Sykes favorite short these days.

Sykes is calling the company and its viability into serious question.  In my opinion, this will be a 5 cent stock again before it is a $1.00 stock.

Six Flags Inc. (OTC: SIXFQ) is down 37.75% on above-average volume. (OTC:SIXFQ), ($SIXFQ)

I told you so!  Common shareholders are getting the shaft and the only direction for the shares is down!

SCI Engineered Materials Inc. (OTC: SCIA) $3.00 0.00% The company has announced significantly improved financial results for the first quarter., with revenues rising 18%, and earnings per diluted share coming in at $0.03 per share. (OTC:SCIA), ($SCIA)

Nice company, nice profits report…nobody cares!  Even with this great news, the stock only traded 5,000 shares

Proton Laboratories Inc. (OTC: PLBI) is up 6.67% on very strong volume. The company has recently said that it has posted additional information on OTCMarkets.com. (OTC:PLBI), ($PLBI)

Not much gong on with PLBI.  Technical indicators and trend are negative.  I looked for the info on OTC markets but didn’t find any.  This is a “Caveat Emptor” company, so be careful

Wellstar International Inc. (OTC: WLSI) is down 12.50% on above average volume. (OTC:WLSI), ($WLSI)

Lecere Corp. (PINK: LCRE) is down 22.22% to $0.0014. The company has said that it will begin a pilot project on May 3 to evaluate its initial SaaS Point of Sales offering at Nepo 42 in Portland, Oregon. (PINK:LCRE), ($LCRE)

Big Bear Mining Corp. (OTC: BGBR) is down 6.45% to $1.16. The company has announced that it has engaged Billiken Management Services to provide a comprehensive work program on all its properties in the Red Lake District. (OTC:BGBR), ($BGBR)

Ivoice Inc. (OTC: IVOI) is down 25.00% to $0.0003. (OTC: IVOI), ($IVOI)

Artfest International Inc. (OTC: ARTS) is down 4.26% to $0.0045. The company has said that it has signed an exclusive agreement for the release of Limited Edition licensed commemorative sports coins through its subsidiary, Artfest Direct. (OTC:ARTS), ($ARTS)

Call it a hunch, but I think that ARTS is a stock that you should put on your radar list.  I never call a bottom, but ARTS is sitting on support and I think could have a bounce in it.

ARTS tries really hard to make traders love them with lots of “important” PR’s . The latest PR claims that ARTS projects annual revenues of approximately $60 Million to $80 Million over the next 12 months.

They have been a high-flier in the past and could be again.  They have not been above doing stock promotions in the past and could again.  Here is their chart…mostly bad news and negative trend, but the stock is worth watching.

VLCO, MYNGE, BJCT, IVOI, VSYS, WLSI, AWSR, BONU, CCTR

Lots of good sub-penny and penny stocks in this recap.  These are penny stocks that are in the news today.  Some could be price moves because of typical penny stock volatilty or others could be news.

I have made comments on several of them to reinforce what news has come out.  I am still waiting for BONU to come back to life.  I remember the hysteria on that one in 2009.   I remember posts saying that BONU was headed to ten dollars.  I’m actually surprised that its kept its value at 45 cents given that it has no revenues or cash-in-the-bank.

ValCom Inc. (OTC: VLCO) is up 15.38% to $0.0450. The company has announced that it has launched the My Family TV network in the Tampa Bay market. (OTC:VLCO), ($VLCO)

Bioject Medical Technologies Inc. (OTC: BJCT) is up 15.38% to $0.3000. The company has announced that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and its collaborating institutions presented the latest results of its clinical trial of the Biojector® 2000 at the 13th Annual Conference on Vaccine Research. (OTC:BJCT), ($BJCT)

Very lightly traded stock.  Until this stock starts to see some volume, it will be almost impossible to predict.  It’s great news for the company amongst other recent news on its needle-free injection therapy systems.  They just need to do a better job of getting the word out.

iVoice Inc. (OTC: IVOI) is up 50.00% to $0.0003. (OTC:IVOI), ($IVOI)

Viscount Systems Inc. (NDA) (OTC: VSYS) is up 15.11% to $0.160. The company has said that its MESH technology platform has been selected to approx. 700 sites for one of Canada’s public management agencies. (OTC:VSYS), ($VSYS)

Move on!  Not much here.  The company is very thinly traded and today’s spike in volume was still only 120K shares.

Wellstar International Inc. (OTC: WLSI) is up 14.29% to $0.0008 on above-average volume. (OTC:WLSI), ($WLSI)

America West Resources Inc. (OTC: AWSR) is up 10.00% to $0.11 following the company’s announcement that it has signed a $200 million coal supply agreement with a leading China-based energy group. (OTC:AWSR), ($AWSR)

Is this game-changing news for AWSR?  The company and the stock sorely need it.  The company has sales but no profits, cash in the bank but a suffocating debt load and a wild-card in the China deal.   It is a 4-yr. deal that will bring cash flow and, hopefully, profits to the company.

I was reading speculation that the company could be planning a reverse split on its way to listing on the Nasdaq or AMEX.  I like that scenario.

BioNeutral Group Inc. (OTC: BONU) is down 2.17% to $0.450. The company has announced that it has signed a letter of intent with Germany’s ANA Aquiline Ltd. to integrate BioNeutral’s line of antimicrobials into its versatile toweling system and to market and sell the resulting products in both the institutional and retail sector within Germany and the UK. (OTC:BONU), ($BONU)

I must admit that I bought into the BONU hype last year.  It seemed that its product launch was just around the corner and all BONU shareholders would be lighting their cigars with $100 bills.  The reality is that BONU still has no sales and is getting by “on its good looks”.  I have reviewed their white papers and it seems like they have a great product.  I am still holding out hope that they will become a real company.

China Crescent Enterprises Inc. (OTC: CCTR) is up 6.67% to $0.0208. (OTC:CCTR), ($CCTR)

Wellstar International Inc. (OTC: WLSI) is up 75.00% to $0.0007 following the company’s announcement that it will be installing a TMI Imaging system in Beverly Hills, California. (OTC:WLSI), ($WLSI)

WLSI closed near the HOD and after a prolonged bearish slump, things might be looking up for WLSI.  “Might” is the operative word.  WLSI still as a long way to go before they are generating revenues.  Their balance sheet shows they are highly leveraged and it is not clear if they will be able to raise more capital.  Be careful on this sub-penny stock.

GreenShift Corp. (OTC: GERS) is down 33.33% to $0.0002. The company on Tuesday announced its execution of an agreement with Marquis Energy, pursuant to which GreenShift has granted Marquis Energy a license to use GreenShift’s patented corn oil extraction technology. (OTC:GERS), ($GERS)

Look at this chart….tell me how you play this one?  Stay away unless you are skilled at trading sub-pennies.

SmartMetric Inc. (OTC: SMME) is up 26.58% to $0.100 following the company’s announcement to open up its own manufacturing facility to produce its advanced “in card” fingerprint scanning and matching technology. (OTC:SMME), ($SMME)

I like SMME.  It looks like a stock that is in play.  The other day it was in the news because it is suing Visa and Mastercard (which I didn’t give them a lot of props for), but now it is clear they are playing the PR game.  I would expect to see a number or meaningful/meaningless PR’s start to come out.    This might be a great stock to play in in and out of…several times.

Zealous Inc. (OTC: ZLUS) is up 8.11% to $0.0040 on above-average volume. (OTC:ZLUS), ($ZLUS)

Sanswire Corp. (OTC: SNSR) is down 5.00% to $0.0920. The company today announced that it entered into an agreement with specialized electronics engineering firm Eastcor Engineering LLC on SkySat UAV (OTC:SNSR), ($SNSR)

This is the second time that I have profiled SNSR in a week.  This news really doesn’t excite me…nor did it excite the market.  No play here for me.

Six Flags Inc. (OTC: SIXFQ) is down 52.91% to $0.0824. Reuters reported that creditors of Six Flags have reached a settlement that will clear the way for the company to exit bankruptcy as soon as next week. (OTC:SIXFQ), ($SIXFQ)

And, it will continue to fall.  Common shareholders are left holding the bag again!  It is down BIG pre-market and will be a sub-penny before long.

IceWEB Inc. (OTC: IWEB) is up 11.69% to $0.430 following the company’s announcement that it has partnered with Google to deliver information sharing solutions to the public sector. (OTC:IWEB), ($IWEB)

I like IWEB’s chances long term.  Its Google announcement will give this stock “legs” for the long term.  Watch for a near-term selloff.  Yesterday’s candle might be an exhaustion gap after its recent runup.

MMR Information Systems Inc. (OTC: MMRF) is up 15.68% to $0.220. The company has said that CEO Robert H. Lorsch is in Cape Town on the final leg of the company’s two week launch of MMRGlobal. (OTC:MMRF), ($MMRF)

Sino Payments Inc. (OTC: SNPY) is up 21.71% to $0.0499. The company has said that it will open a representative office in Shenzhen, China. (OTC:SNPY), ($SNPY)

Stay the hell away.  I am still mad at this company because it was one of my only losers last year.  The company was on a strong bullish run, I recommended it and it tanked.  I guess the owners decided to sell everything while it was at a profitable point.  I don’t trust the company and its PR’s.  There is nothing here!
